Report For 2022

In 2022, BCAI focused strongly on human capital development, advancing accountability in education through partnerships with government institutions, which led to improved systems and better access to quality education for Nigerian children. The organization contributed to upskilling 5 million Nigerians, including training over 39,000 individuals in northern Nigeria on soft and employability skills, helping reduce barriers to dignified employment. BCAI also strengthened the capacity of community leaders and civil society organizations to address forced and child marriage, while expanding efforts in gender-based violence prevention. Internally, the organization invested in staff development, improved systems, and initiated a rebranding and strategic planning process. Overall, 2022 was marked by strong advocacy, broad community engagement, impactful partnerships, and continued progress in advancing the rights of women and youth.
