The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 created major disruptions, worsening access to essential health services, especially for women and girls and increasing socioeconomic barriers. Despite this, BCAI remained resilient and committed to supporting adolescents and young people to make informed, healthy choices. By 2021, marking three years of impact, BCAI alongside partners and communities expanded its reach through a multi-sectoral approach, supporting over 3,349 beneficiaries across 21 communities in 9 countries, strengthening 8 youth organizations, reaching over 27 million people digitally, and achieving 7 policy wins in reproductive health and climate advocacy.
