Ruqayya Abdulhadi serves as the Community Engagement Manager and Safeguarding Focal Person for the WAVES Project at Bridge Connect Africa Initiative (BCAI), where she bridges public health research with community-centered action. With over five years of experience, she specializes in translating quantitative data and qualitative stories into meaningful programming for climate resilience and health initiatives. Her expertise spans program coordination, safeguarding implementation, and stakeholder engagement ensuring evidence-based strategies are ethically executed at the community level.
Her approach centers on transforming research findings into actionable plans, and ensures documentation, logistics, and multi-stakeholder coordination ensures BCAI’s interventions are both data-informed and human-focused, directly advancing the organization’s mission of building sustainable community resilience.
